how to change ip?

so how do I change my IP, the one that people can ddos from, I've being getting attacks, so I need to change it.
I own a virgin media superhub.

Another way is to have your router off for 48 hours.

My old modem was setup to change its ip every restart.. which was awesome..

You need to contact your ISP or turn off your modem for 24 hours at minimum. If you don't want the full 24 hours, your IP won't change.

You can't change your IP with the superhub, the only way is unplugging your router for over 3 days which is usually the time they reassign the ip - or contacting the provider themselves.
