Get ads on Minecraftservers.org Weeks are great from anywhere around 9am-7pm isn. Sundays aren't my favorite days cuz I've been wasted money getting ads on sundays. During the week mon-thurs from like 4pm-7pm ish i think is good and fridays anything after 4pm.

A few hundred a month can easily get you a player base of 50 if you use the right ads at the right times. If you ever need help advertising, PM me.
Disclaimer: This will only work if the server you're advertising is not shit.
Mostly Advertise Your minecraft server, such as Advertising it on PlanetMinecraft,Minecraft servers etc. but the question is can you keep the players. It also has to do with your server if its fun and all that good stuff if you can keep the players and advertise good, then players will tell their friends and your server will become larger and you will also get more donations. That's what I think.
There's also another way, which technically is sorta frowned upon *and PMC can ban you*.
There are some services/websites which offer PMC Votes in bulk, which could get you to a higher position on their list. (Note this is against the PMC TOS and you CAN get banned for doing this)
Another way, would be to use TOR or Firefox with an IP Changer Extension, and manually reload your vote page and repeatedly vote.
