Already this thread has taken a negative turn, I'm going to put it out there that HCF is now a really controversial gamemode with a lot of opinions but really I'm not here for the debate or to be told we're going to fail, It's something I want to try and I feel like if HCF is going back to how it was. This is the time to try it.

I'm the owner of an HCF server, yes, I know. The dying game mode, the game mode that people don't like because it is OP. The game mode that kids think they can bring back by copying Kohi.
Well, here I am doing the last idea. Velt has tried making minor changes to their servers in an attempt to revive HCF, it's not good enough.
The aim of my server is to make HCF fun and hardcore again. I've seen people try to do hardcore and fail, okay. I know the odds are heavily against me but if people want HCF changed, then someone has to try.
Here's what we've done so far.
- 60 second combat tag
- 24 hour gapple cooldown
- Heavily reduced XP boost
- No Gkit bullshit
- No purchasable crates
- 12 hour deathbans (Min 6 hour with the top rank)
- 20 Min PVPTimer
- 20 min SOTW timer
- Class warmup has been added back
- Lives are rare again
- No Donor revive
- 20 man [Powers]
- Ore spawn and miner class nerfed
- Only allowed traps are fallers and string
- Emerald currency (?)
- Harsh on punishments // Unbans rarely in store
- No 90% bullshit, If we have a sale, its real.
We understand cheating is an issue, we're not MineHQ and we definitely don't have the budget to remake a CheatBreaker however we're doing all we can to prevent cheating. We've purchased what we feel is the best anti-cheat on the market in an attempt to destroy thots and cheaters.
I understand we've given all our ideas away, that's fine. If other Owners see this, they can do the same and we can eventually bring back the Hardcore in HCF.

What I'm here for today are ideas.
What we need is ideas that people want to see in HCF, ways to make our server more Hardcore, new events people will want to play, ways to make the server fun and importantly youtubers that we can advertise with that will reach out to hardcore players, YouTubers who want HCF back how it is. I've got a few people in mind already but I'd love to hear what others say.
