Hello.

I was recently scammed, as demonstrated in the following scam report: http://www.mc-market.org/threads/150912/. Therefore I need to attempt to chargeback the $40 from this specific deal. I've never had to chargeback before, therefore I need tips and methods that will give the best chance of successfully winning a chargeback dispute.

EDIT: I paid via F&F.

If you'd rather PM me then spread this information of a public forum, feel free.

Thank you for your help in advance. <3

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

did you pay it whilst on a vpn
Nope. That'd be fraud as well, not something I want to do on a legally bound account to an external party. :/ Would calling up and talking to them do the trick? I have a tendency to get what I want when I call anywhere.

call them and explain how you was tricked into paying F&F and that you didn't understand what it was and that the scammer told you to and thus you got scammed and email them and phone everyday lmao
Should I reveal that it was an electronic good? I assume I should also dispute the transaction via their help centre as well as calling, yeah?

I got scammed $350 a long time ago, F&F, called up PayPal, and they refunded the payment. Do not make up any lies when you call them, just state that you were told to pay F&F for an online good because he said it was "the safer way" and then you paid- and he didn't distribute the online good.

Good luck.

Most scammers will distant themselves from PayPal, its simply a way to collect cash. Real users like yourself who use PayPal to purchase things and calling them shows you to be the more legitimate user in the transaction. Someone who takes the time out of there day to contact PayPal personally is someone they would like to be using there service.
