If you sold someone can account hypothetically and they did a CB against you. You pulled back the account hypothetically until they canceled it. They keep telling you it's canceled and they've called PayPal and everything. You wait 4-5 days and still not canceled and you give them 3 days to cancel the CB or you're keeping the account if they don't hypothetically. Are you in the wrong to keep the account even though they lost the CB even though you gave them 8 days to cancel it and they kept lying saying it was hypothetically.

If they chargedback, it's their fault. You should keep all access to the account unless a special term is created.

They did lose the chargeback and I was thinking do I keep the account even though I gave them 8 days to cancel it hypothetically speaking.

Honestly; they chargedback. They should lose access either way. But I feel if a scam report was opened they could twist words and pull “Don’t chargeback wasn’t in your TOS” or some other bull. Regardless I feel you’d be in the right.
