I don't go first on deals for that very reason unless someone has had a thread up for a while and has gotten several vouches for his or her service. Open a scam report and get the user banned as they scammed you.

Open a Scam report always look at the profile before buying see if he is a new member or not and that stuff

Use a well-known middleman and make sure you have a contract or whatever to use against the scammer in this case which makes it harder for them to scam you. You should also be sure this user hasn't scammed or done anything sketchy in the past.

Everyone I ask is like "oh I don't do fortnite deals" and I'm like "dude I just need you to hold money for 5 minutes while we trade" and they're like "no sorry man"
