Okay, I’m just wondering what cars you people have and how much do you pay in insurance and how long have you been passed your test. As I’ve recently gave up and paid a stupid amount for my car insurance.


My car is a / Audi A1 Limited Edition \
Insurance price: £8,893 (includes a small motorbike accident)

I have a Renault twingo from about 1992 I pay like 50 pounds of insurance because the speedo dose not work and I pay via km so not that much

Maby it’s a Audi thing, mine is currently £400 a month I basically skint my self after bills to pay it. It’s only that low as I put 4K down as the deposit

I know, it is rancid. I have to have it otherwise it would've been £5,000.

Just had to be done, however I can get the insurance down to around £1,000 in November without a black box.

It is all dependent on your age, how long you have had your licence and also the age of your car. Older cars tend to be tantalisingly more expensive for obvious reasons such as; parts aren't made anymore and harder to find mechanics to repair the vehicle if something sid happen.

Obviously the make of the car, polos, corsas and c1s are a few cars that fall under the "popularised by teens" categories where the price of insurance on those cars are bumped.
