Just looking for a quick appraisal on the domain jar.dev

I would say maybe between $mid-highXX to low XXX. TLDs other than .com, .org, .net, .co, are pretty hard sells - not impossible though by any means!

I know they won't sell for as much as .com, .net etc, But I was expecting a bit higher considering plugins, spigots etc are all known as "jars" and dev is development..

Yeah, I'm not saying that by any means your domain is worthless, but in terms of resale to an end-user, it will be difficult. If you use NameBio.com to compare past sales, you'll notice that the frequency of recorded .dev sales is relatively low, with only 7 results:

It's not impossible to get a good sale on this name, but very difficult. Domain value is subjective to person to person though, so I mean this with all respect!

Update: I think this could be $150-200 given the combination, after doing a little more research.
