Hi,

I've noticed, when looking at the main page of MCM, that certain Posts have been bumped. But what's weird is that a banned user replied "1 minute ago" as of the time of the screenshot. When you go into the thread itself, the last reply was April 7th. I don't know if this is some part of a bump system? But either way, it shouldn't display that a banned user replied 1 minute ago when it was actually April 7th. I've attached the screenshots - they're full webpage screenshots.

The first screenshot is from the MCM homepage itself - under "Recent Posts", the second being the thread. Scroll down to the bottom to see.

The bump / up thread plugin MCM uses, works by changing the last reply date to now. Therefore it tricks XenForo into thinking that the person has only just replied, therefore puts it at the top.

Its just how the plugin works, there isnt a simple way of making a thread bump that doesnt work that way. Since a good chunk of XenForo would have to be rewritten. Will have to wait and see if there is an official bump / up thread built into XenForo 2.0 when thats out. If not, sticking with the plugin we have is the best option.

Ahh alright. Also, from what I've seen, I don't think there will be an integrated bump feature, but there's definitely going to be more expandability as opposed to the current version/s.
Indeed. Not a bug, but a feature. Hacky way to do it for xenforo, but it works like a charm, besides the slight misinformation there :)
Ahh yep, very "hacky" :p
