Hey everyone,

I'm looking for another owner to release a network with me. I have years of experience with management, so I need you to come with knowledge of how to run things, backend. I've also invested $500+ into getting all the plugins made, so the content is already done. You would need some money, to buy the dedi and if there are any other costs (would say $300 is a very safe amount).

I'm very passionate and knowledgeable with how to run things, so as long as you have experience and a little bit of cash this would work out. Drop your discord below if you are interested, and ready to focus on this.

Connection Speed - If you don't have the best wifi, the server will experience lag now and again

Set up - Setting up a dedicated system can take a lot of time, and also fixing hardware will take a lot of your profits and such.

Unless your server is experiencing 150+ players each day, I wouldn't use a dedicated system. I would stick to using a hosting service such as Argon by The Alex, you can get a 30gb server hosted on the latest Rysen 9 5950x for $60 a month (Each gb of ram is $2). They also offer a high speed connection with no downtime whatsoever. If your interested in this the link to their website is in my signature.

However, the choice is yours but I am always looking to share my opinion and help others!

If you do want to rent out a server, I'd recommend going with hosting companies, that have an LLC, and a data protection license, as well as they're known for not having any data breaches, Wither Hosting, FloofyHosting are good candidates for that, as well as StellaNode, and a few others you can find in #Verified Servers category!

Thank you guys for the input. Friend highly suggested a dedi so that's why I was saying that, but if a normal host works just as good/better then that seems more convenient. Again, I'm not that bright on knowing this stuff about servers.

Dedi's are good yes, but what you're referring to is a VPS. no hosting company will offer you to purchase a dedicated system unless you are paying $100+ a month. This is because they can use a dedicated system and split it between hosting and earn a lot more that way.

The only way to own a dedicated system is by purchasing one yourself, where you either send it to a data server and pay a high monthly fee or host it yourself and have very high bills.

I would recommend doing some research on the companies you listed, and understand what a dedi is before replying to a thread.

I really am not referring to a VPS. I know exactly what a dedicated server is and i would refrain from slandering companies you don't have concrete evidence for... Lol. A dedicated server is definitely the best option and all huge networks use them.

You can get dedis from around $60 depending on machine. OVH and SparkedHost are just 2 examples of dedicated server hosting providers. Do your research buddy.

Do research my friend, a dedicated server is what all popular servers are using. Speak to someone at OVH or SparkedHost. There are others you can use too these are just two examples. I've used multiple dedi systems and they have been absolutely fine. Some server providers also offer setups for ptero etc. A normal server hosting has nothing on dedicated servers, this is a fact.

Course it lags, the cheap servers are terrible, pay peanuts get monkeys as the old saying goes. ;) Also, they dont offer dedicated server? You might want to go re check that? I literally have one ahha....

I have a dedicated server and I'm paying 90€/month for it and it has very good specs and quite cheap for the specs
