Looking for building tips!

Hello everyone, Kryptonite here!
Today I was hoping to get some tips or "teacher" to help me become a better builder. I've been building for nearly three years now. At one point I was an amazing builder, I hit my high point, I guess you could say. Recently, Ive gotten more into building but I just can't build like I used to. Any tips or ways I could improve my builds?

I would start with experimenting in block variation and detail with depth in your builds, mess around with colours and textures (i suggest in default texture pack as imo if you can build well in default you can in any pack).

Some Tips:

• Try and create patterns outside straight lines and checkered for flooring and walls
• Add features like stairs, buttons, trapdoors, slabs and fences onto walls to create features that look unique and functional
• Take designs of real world buildings or fantasy artwork
• Select a style or theme you are interested in and focus on advancing those skills to start with

This is all coming form my Admin experience on some of the bigger Creative Servers (older ones that been around since start of MC Multiplayer), mainly PwegoServer (PI Creative) and Mithrintia both now known as Athion Netowork
