So let me catch you all up to speed here. Over the past year iv been coming up with an idea for this server. Its called Ethos Economy, and its a very unique and engaging server that revolves around an emerald currency. Emeralds exist in the physical form of emeralds (with a custom name) but they can be deposited into your bank account by going to /bank, right clicking a banker and using the very user friendly GUI. You can use your emeralds to buy items, and also to rank up the Ethos Rank Hierarchy, much like a prison server (each rank allows the player more towny perms). So how do I get these 'physical emeralds' you ask? Well, just like any server you can sell items, and get paid by players, but on Ethos Economy we wanted to add in an super fun new feature that will add a whole new level of fun to economy. What we did was made it so Emeralds drop from a whole list of mobs/blocks in the natural world, this makes mining awesome, especially in our custom terrain resource world. We have also built off the emerald system in a number of ways, one is Professions. Players can select one of 5 professions. Each profession gives the player an emerald booster on a specific set of mobs or blocks. For example, farmer will receive more emeralds when they break a carrot then a normal player.
We we're scheduled to launch in about a week, but unfortunately, one of the owners has had to take a step back from the server due to school, and now were looking for someone new to help us out finishing the server, putting it through beta, launching it and watching it grow
The Head Admin position is the highest position on Ethos Economy other then Owner. The Head Admin will have many responsibilities such as managing lower staff, managing the community and being a friendly person to look up to, and working closely with me to help improve player experience, and optimize the server to get more players to stay.
I am looking for someone who has a lot of experience with servers and managing larger community's. You must also be good with server set up and mechanics. If you think your right for the position please just leave a comment with these brief questions:
