Nolag offers servers starting at crazy $0.8/GB in Los Angeles, Dallas (USA) and Düsseldorf (Germany).
Aquatis offers servers for $1.5/GB, but use $1GBPRICE and make it $1!
Servercrafters offers servers for unbelievable $1/GB in Germany and Canada.

All of these hosting companies are running on a high performance yet low budget basis and I really recommend having a look at them.
