Looking for mentor

Hello,

My name is uglybutcher.
I started a network a year ago and sadly let it go due to school and family. Now, i want to bring it up again. Sadly, i don't know what to do. I don't know where to go and what to play.

I would prefer to make a mini-game server due to the fun fact. But, i don't know what to put.

This is where i come to you. I am asking for a mentor to help me.
I can't really afford one, but would love to have advice from a person who has done this before.

Will be interested to see if you can find anyone with a large amount of experience running minigames servers who will be willing to mentor you through that sort of process. There are definitely people who will help you with specific issues if you run into them (me for example) especially if you make a post on the appropriate forum/subforum.
