[LusterMC] Actively looking for staff members!

Hi there!

I'm the Owner of LusterMC, an enhanced SMP server which has a modern-feel. These servers are very hard to come by, especially in this version of Minecraft. This server is custom coded by myself, using our own Core plugin, along with a Punishment Tracker and Staff Application system, etc. We plan to offer many unique features, however I refuse to make them public as they could be copied.

Why are we looking for staff?

I'm finding it very difficult to manage every aspect of the server, along with developing the back-end material. If I could have staff members help me out with simpler tasks, such as testing for bugs, submitting suggestions, etc. I could spend more time on coding and getting the server out for our planned release time-frame.

Who is our targeted audience?

Anyone! Literally, we're willing to read an application from anyone who wants to give being staff on our server a chance.

The following skills definitely help your chances on being accepted, though:

- Good communication skills (Skype is required)
- Prior experience dealing with a player-base (preferably a mature community)
- Being able to adapt to a growing and changing environment, especially with a growing team
- Knowledge of basic plugins (WorldGuard, etc.) as protection on builds will be used

Why should I apply? Should I try to apply?

Obtaining a position on our server will be a rare event, as we like to keep our team small. This rewarding experience will enhance your moderation skills along with providing you a fun experience on our server. We encourage anyone to apply, even if they don't feel confident, as all applications are reviewed extensively.

When will the server open? What will it have?

As release dates can damage a new server, we plan to stay away from them. However, we plan to launch the server in mid-to-late June. The server will have custom mobs, events and features that are new to Minecraft.

How can I apply?

Feel free to go over to our Staff Application system, over on our temporary website.
This will set your rank once you join the server, allowing easy tracking of our future staff members.

We are actively looking for a reputable and safe hosting-provider for our forums, server and TeamSpeak.
Along with a hosting provider, we are seeking artists and system administrators who have previous experience with Minecraft projects and have good payment rates.

We wish that we could spruce up the post a bit, however we don't have artwork at the moment, making it hard to provide a nice visual design.
