This type of shit is so annoying to when people say 'no rep sound legit' or something like that.
see: https://gyazo.com/a6013cbcbd03433a1b2933f48aa33de4

Please make it a rule where you can't say that or anything like that, new traders get reputable by selling and buying stuff, and if people comment this surely it's just deterring their business and making it hard for new members to become reputable ergo, people leaving the site. It's also annoying because everyone has to start somewhere...

Yes, I know they are new members and they may scam, but if you're more reputable, surely you can go second and not get scammed.

Sometimes its alright to do so. Say someone has no vouches and low rep (happens quite a bit) goes and asks for a $40+ loan. No one is going to risk that amount on someone that has very low rep. So telling them that they dont really have enough rep would be fīne.

Yes, but let's say some randy asks for 40$+ loan, and you actually give them a loan, then you are not very smart, surely it's common sense to not give loans out to new members.

No need to spam their threads with 'LMAO NO REP NO LOANERINO MUAHHA'.

True, a simple funny reaction would suffice.

I do agree anyone who says that sort of thing in a thread can at least expect it to be removed, unless they phrase it in a way that actually contributes to the thread. Which that example clearly did not.

To clarify the difference, here's an example:

Acceptable:
Selling a $200 (whatever) as a new member? Hope you're not expecting people to go first.

not acceptable:
Lol u scrub you don't have enough rep to sell this shit on here.

These comments are obviously direct attacks at the person posting the thread. This shouldn't be a separate rule but should, instead, fall under sales trashing. I see so many new members who don't have these comments on their threads and make a few good sales or positive comments at the very least. The complete opposite happens when someone has commented these. It's beyond me why a member who has been here for very long and loves the site, would discourage new members.

Everyone starts from somewhere, so i agree that its considered sales trashing when people say those things. It just depends on the way you criticize the thread that makes it ok or not, like Ivain said.

This sums it up pretty well. A rule for this really isn't necessary but if someone is being rude through their way of saying it then the post can be reported and removed with the user warned. Denied.

Thanks for the suggestion.
