Howdy fellas,

At the moment there are many MCM users with a lot more free time than normal right now due to the COVID-19 situation. Online schooling and online jobs mean that lots of people are bored in front of their computers all day, and with this, I thought that it might be a nice idea to have an MCM community server for the next few weeks/months.

In the past we have had one or two SMP servers and they were quite a success, but unfortunately, they died down relatively fast due to a lack of interest. I'm not too worried about that this time and if we do have a short season that'd be okay, it'd still be fun.

Anything too complex with a fancy Skyblock setup or much more than that probably isn't doable or realistic to implement and keep fresh with new functionality, so I think a more standard SMP would work best.

For a SMP, we could either go with:
  1. SMP with an economy, Justis' AutoEconomy plugin, essentials for teleporting and a whole bunch of other cool stuff
  2. Almost completely vanilla with only land claiming and chest protection, no teleporting or anything like that
  3. Anything else that you'd recommend, as long as it's fun and has a decent amount of longevity to it and looks cool
After the success of our previous UHC event I think that we could make something quite fun as a community and I am relatively flexible if you have another fun idea. Our community can be pretty cool sometimes, and I'd really like to play some Minecraft with y'all.

I'd love to know what you think of the idea,

This suggestion received a far more positive reception than I was anticipating, and so I'll move this to accepted as we will be making a MCM Community SMP.
