Fairly sure MCM did this intentionally.

if that true they don't want people to use it normally,
they should not put the RSS Button :(

You will need to use a library to solve Cloudflare's JS challenge on its own.

As shown here, if you successfully solve the challenge, you'll have access to the feed. The same goes for accessing anything else on MCMarket.

Since we don't allow users to automatically interface with the site, I don't really see why we're keeping RSS around. Is RSS used for anything useful other than automatically scraping data from the site?

Not much, but what's the problem with scraping the site? I can think of tons of good legitimate ways to use data from this site, and just about every halfway popular website has some kind of api, not sure why you guys don't like that so much.
We will be implementing a MCM API for our Ultimate users soon, it still requires custom development though.

????????????????????????????????????????
So what you're saying is you're making users pay to access a public api to scrape your site. This is the completely ridiculous, it would be like if amazon only let amazon prime members use their api, like I understand you want to earn more money from this site but recently it's felt like you're completely ignoring all the ranks people paid money for in the past years and only care about getting people to buy more. Really disappointed in this new shift of only giving stuff to ultimate.
In the past 4 years of owning the site, this is the first new rank that I have implemented, and I didn't do it without having features in mind and implemented to make it worthwhile for our userbase. Only the very dedicated and invested users in the site are the kinds of people who would be interested in using an API, so it makes sense to have access be a perk for only those who have the top rank.

What about everyone else?
Just like with other Premium/Supreme/Ultimate perks, if you do not have the upgrade you will not be able to access the API and any attempts to automatically interface with the site will result in warning points for violating our terms of service.

Welp, I don't think that's a valid statement. I've (for example) invested a lot of my time and a lot of effort into maintaining a relationship with the community on here and dedicated a lot of time (infinitely more valuable than money) - and have purchased at least the Supreme upgrade w/ name colours. I'd love an API myself. Been waiting for a year or so.

What you mean to say, I think, is that the people who can afford Ultimate and pay for ultimate deserve perks that come with the monthly cost, which I have no quarrels with. But saying that 'only the very dedicated [...]' is demoralising.

Just 403 the API for users who don't have access. Because if one accidentally makes a request to the API, that would be an automatic warning...?

I think he means scraping the normal thread URLs with your account token as a cookie

As has been discussed earlier on this suggestion, we're going to be introducing an API for our Ultimate users, likely at a point after our migration to XF2. We'll also be removing the RSS feed button from our footer soon since it's been blocked.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
