im a huge noob but I'm curious as to why there is a wait from when a name drops before you can snipe it? And how long is that wait

If i get what you mean.
The wait is 7 days, and it was created by mojang to give the owner of the name (the person that had the name before 30 days) a chance to get it back as some people get hacked causing their names to be changed by the hacker, or just in general if they want to get their name back, mojang gave them a week to do so.

What I meant is when you look at the end of the recently dropped names, you can't queue them right when they drop, and I wanted to know why. Thanks though

I emailed them about this, they said that the wait is "randomly generated between 12 and 48 hours for each name."

I assume this because people (like me) who have "changed from" name notifiers wouldn't be able to snipe queuing the names when queuing a name with the sniper.
