Those pictrures are realy nice, however the terrain coveragi is realy basic and those trees have flying roots.
Also, could you explain us, how did you tried to eliminate lags there?
Knowing the size would be also usefull...

I found a issue with my worldpainter (Is most likely mine) but around the edge of the map is a vast blob of ores and cobwebs which caused lag.
And the trees do not have floating roots. The roots do dig into the ground and actually have a root system. (Took me forever)
