[MINOR?] Lost access to section twice in 10 days

This might be considered minor but I've noticed twice in the past month I have lost access to posting in the loans & investments.

First time was on July 8th:

The other is today:

I am not sure if this happens to other people. I haven't made any changes to my account either so I don't know why I keep losing access.

Has something recently happen on your account which could possibly prevent you from using the section due to requirements?

I just checked and it looks like it fixed itself for you!

It is known that it occasionally removes and adds you back to the group though.

Nothing that should affect requirements (like changing profile picture, name color)

Yeah, it is fixed. You mentioned it is known, is it a bug or something intentional?

I am not sure when I lost access again but I went to check a reply from a loan thread and I noticed it said insufficient permissions.

All I did just now was change my profile picture twice within 2 minutes and I do not have access.

Seems like the criteria for posting is very sensitive and you can't make any modifications to your account without it revoking your access for some time :shrug:

This is a bug, but we're not entirely sure what causes it or how it can be fixed. In our migration to XF2 when we have to recode everything from the ground up perhaps it'll magically fix itself since XF2 likely handles the checks and usergroups differently.

We'll also be removing investments and loans soon enough, so this problem won't be relevant for that forum for much longer.

Until then though, I'll move this to the bug report archives.
