More payment options for resources

Hey all,
So I come to the suggestion thread today to suggest adding more payment options for resources.

It'd be great if users posting the resources had options other than PayPal. My PayPal recently got limited for 0 reason and now I cannot buy any resources. It would be epic if users could have the option to link a crypto wallet or even strip to their resources so users with or without PayPal can still purchase things.

Also to add - a lot of people in certain countries PayPal is banned. Don't get me wrong I doubt there is a lot of people from them countries trying to purchase resoucres but for those who do, it'll be a great option.

It could make things more complicated, but I've always wanted to see BTC implemented in some sort of way. Most resource owners will just post on the resource that they are accepting BTC via PM, so maybe we should add it through a prompt?

You are correct yes. Another downside is that I haven't seen a XenForo addon that allows Stripe & Crypto payments through resources so it'll likely cost a few hundred $ to get it developed.

If they were able to make it happen with Account Upgrades, I'm pretty sure an implementation in resources isn't the hardest thing to ask for. It's kinda odd to see resources purchased via PayPal but not the official account upgrades.

When considering this, does Mc-Market currently have a refund policy protecting the buyer? If not then I believe Bitpay should be implemented. Obviously this would only be enabled if the seller accepts bitpay options.

Agreed. I think the main reason Mick changed it was because of charge back but don’t quote me on that.

They actually don't have a refund policy, I can see why though, it wouldn't really make sense for ads to be refundable that would just be free advertisement.

MCMarket already supports Stripe for credit card payments for their advertising system. It would really be useful to expand Stripe payments to resources also.
