More scam report staff

Scam reports take forever to resolve, not just a few days... They normally take a week, and most of them are forgotten about because the scammer doesn't respond and then never resolved.

This is pretty sad, because this is one of the main reasons people get scammed.

Most scammers do not get banned until another week or so from the scam report, leaving them plenty of time to go around and scam.

EDIT:
Checkout all of these scam reports THAT ARE DAYS OLD and were FORGOTTEN ABOUT... and still not resolved. A scam report should take just a couple days to be handled.

THEN SHOULD ACTUALLY EXAMINE THE PROOF AND THEN ASK QUESTIONS BASED OFF OF THAT! (which I bet they dont read half the posts or examine the proof)

This is how come no scam reports are resolved, a scammer isn't going to bump his own scam report, instead they are going to ignore it so it gets forgotten.

Yeah and when a scam report gets resolved its just like 'Close thread' and tell the person who got scammed 'Okay we banned them!'

Maybe it would be good if someone wrote up a tutorial on how to attempt to get your money back (and this would of been a reply to a scam report once closed), open a PayPal dispute, what to tell PayPal, etc. We need to attempt to get our money back guys, its not just for the user who got scammed... But if scammers fail to scam over and over, they will eventually just stop scamming and coming back with alt accounts.

But instead no one knows how to handle this with PayPal, and scammer wins.

Their first response should be along the lines of:

*Tag user* You have a scam report against you.

With the current proof I think that .... Should be done.

Instead of just - Yo TAGGED USER what you playing at!

With the changes that will be coming in the near future, this shouldn't be an issue anymore. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll leave the thread open for a while for further discussion if needed.

I've been seeing BeBosny going around and doing a pretty good job with scam reports, hes trying to get off on the right foot I see.

But like, some other scam reports like the ones I listed for example... (not going to say any names)
The proof or evidence wasn't even read or examined, all that was done was 'What do you have to say' and then no response, and then forgotten.

We first usually try to gather as much info as possible before jumping to any conclusions or decisions.

We are working on guidelines for people that will handle scam reports. This should improve some things here and there.

Right now, I'm just trying to get rid of all the poor people waiting weeks for a scam report to get approved.

I hope this means you're actually going to take my advice on the scam reports section.

Related to the thread itself. This has been posted many times before, and most recently a week ago. Do people use the search features? Maybe if staff didn't close threads, users would actually respond to open suggestions rather than creating new ones for the same thing to add input.

Ajdin As far as locking threads goes, change your policy on it. Only lock threads that are out of control after internal discussion. Locking threads because "it is something we will do in the near future" isn't viable and leads to more spam threads because users want to make sure you haven't forgotten about it, which tbh I think you do forget about them. Keep them open, give your comment as normal. I wonder where you picked up the locking threads idea from, not many forums do that except... do I need to name it?

I know it was. It's been done here a while, that's my complaint. The last sentence was a joke in reference to another forum (I don't need to name, it's obvious by this point) who has been doing it since they first established.

Personally, I don't feel that we need more Scam Resolver staff.
I believe that myself and M6Gaming have been doing an amazing job recently in order to tackle the huge backlog of scam reports we initially had. We started with almost 100 unresolved scam reports, and now we're down to just above 40. This has been achieved in just a few days remember!

I admit that at times it's been a shaky start, especially for myself, however I think that both myself and M6 are still settling into our roles and you should give us a chance.
