Why would someone setup a Minecraft server on Windows though?Yep.
Theoretically. But most security flaws come from installed applications that you usually choose. And plus, most security flaws are local escalation. Almost none are remote.Securer quite possibly.
There are many more security faults in Centos than Windows?
Apart from the fact "Securer" isn't even a word, windows is more security tested, however floors in Linux distributions are found much quicker due to its open source nature. Linux servers also preform better than their windows counterparts.Securer quite possibly.

I don't get what you mean, dude.Centos doesn't have a GUI, meaning you can't remote connect, not being able to remote connect means you need to (if you use multicraft) allow external ip address to access phpmyadmin (security flaw)
now, if you have windows you can simply access it through Localhost and block outside connections.[DOUBLEPOST=1476032384][/DOUBLEPOST]
