Multiple Ranks For 1 Player?

Hey guys,

I know I'm new, but I am currently setting up my own OP Prison server. It has been under development for quite some time, but I have hit a bump on my ride. I am trying to figure out which plugin would be best so that I can have a player have the default prison rank while having a staff rank.

Example:

I would need my rank to look like this -
[A] [Owner] Accomplished :

I currently use group manager and I'm not sure how to do that with it. Should I switch over to pex? Or is there a way to do this with group manager?

Pex is better, and you can add a staff group with /pex group <user> add <group>, don't use set or it will set it as the primary. Set the staff rank as a suffix so they can still have the prison rank. (/pex group <group> suffix "<suffix>")

Group manager should have an add rank format...

For groupmanager you can only add a sub group with /manuaddsub. Pex you can use /pex user group set then use /pex user group add to another group.

Thanks, but how do I set perms to the groups via Pex?

You have to do it through the Config.yml

Not true. /pex group NAMEOFGROUP add permissions.node.here

not sure if GM supports multiple prefixes but sure try it. Ik for a fact pex does

Hi,

I know this has been replied to however I remember when I had this problem I used this plugin.

http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/rankprefix-plus/

If you move the rank prefix and suffix behind the chat on the default chat layout it will work how you want.
