Should I take the extra 4gb out again?
Yea, but it depends. Do you really need the next 4gb ram? If you do, then leave it in, but it will cause some errors/crashes. So whichever is more worth it is up to you.
I doubt it will do anything like fry any of your components, but it might cause crashes and incompatibility issues.

Should totally take it out. It will cause CPU and GPU incompatibilities.
And also the other crashes which Zeiyon mentioned.

Blue screens all over the shop.
Ye Ive taken them out
