Need developer for server

Just cause a string is English does not mean they would know exactly where it goes, i asked a friend and he said they both could work as a program language. He did not know where the on join would go. And what can go under it, i had to look things up cause i thought it was

I agree, java is better, you are not getting the point, who ever called this ENGLISH and not a language is what i'm commenting back on, i know skript is not as good as java, but skript is still a programming language.

Skript is NOT programming language. Debate Over.

Skript communicates to a plugin, not a machine. Therefore, skript is no programming language. Cry about it all you want, it's the harsh truth. Infact, scratch might be harder to use than your performance-nomming plugin.

Also, as stated before, it has no mysql support, and if it does, well, get ready for some real issues.

There is MySQL support for Skript.

- "A programming language is a formal computer language designed to communicate instructions to a machine", Yet skript programming communicates to a plugin, not a machine, skript is a plugin that communicates to a machine, sending packets/information to the server and client, yet skript programming is literally telling a plugin to do something, then any other plugin including skript is the code telling a machine to do something.

Skript is essentially a Puesdo code compiler in my eyes, You tell it what it needs to do in basic English and it'll just do to the best of it's advantage what You have explained it to do.

This is a language cause it is giving a computer commands much like java, it's telling the computer to recognize it's self for this game. IT IS a language. And yes you still have to think a little for this language. It's not as hard as java, but it's still in needing to be learned

Skript is not compiled in anyway, it's just an interpreter. It's has no language structure to it, it does not communicate to memory or the CPU. Also it does not have any capablity for scaling, abstraction, memory allocation. The the person who wrote Skript says it's not even a language. It's just like saying '.sh' files are a form of coding, the're not it's a unix script, much like Skript is a script for bukkit.

I'm really not sure why all these skripters say it's a language.
