Negative Ratings

Hey,

So I think that we should implement negative ratings. So the scammers will be shown negative instead of having +100 rating. It's basically false advertising almost. How I see it is that no matter how long you stay on you will get positive rating if you stay on and just post. So someone could scam and they would still have +30 rating. This would also help with scam reports. maybe not as many would go through.

It could be something like this:

• Have a dislike button
• Report the user (must have a reason)

and maybe some more things. Each would lower the persons rating eventually ending up in a negative.

Post below your ideas. I just think this would be a good idea for the community and atleast put an effort into stopping the scammers.

Yeah, But the people could atleast help in that process. It takes a HUGE load off of the staff members. Also got this idea from hackforums and that is a really big community. It helps them alot and people seem to like it.

As much as I love you Sentinel, this is a horrible idea. This can be used in so many bad ways, just giving someone a negative rating on all of their posts because you hate them.

Of course that would not happen to me, because everyone loves me.

Thats why there has to be a reason. And it has to be approved maybe? The rating wouldn't really do anything. Just scammers etc...

You can't really identify someone as a possible scammer in this situation. It's either they are, or they aren't, to the staff anyway. To make it official.

Others, regular community members however can. That's why you have the DNDW list.
