You're not "Selling" anything. And Its truly up to you, you can have it open source or not. It depends on what you want from the project, if you want help and reviews of the code to better yourself as a developer then make it open source, if you want to sell it or make it exclusive for one person then I wouldn't make it open source.

Since you're a new and unknown member, doing some open source projects/releases first is a great way to gain rep.

The thing is i would release it for free but i feel like this could be good for the market as it would be cheap anyways. The plugin is designed to be a moduler core which slowly is in development the ideas is for example to code essentials for example and make it so people can disabled and enable that feature of the core.

I would not charge for it as Staff+ is a thing and its very configurable.

You could probally sell it, but I guess making it opensource, or free, would help boosting your rep.
