Hello everyone,
Very recently was MC-Market's third birthday! To celebrate this occasion we have a brand new update!
New theme!
Perhaps the biggest announcement is our brand new theme which I’m sure you’ve noticed by now! Over the past months we have been working in collaboration with PixelExit, who also created our previous theme which released exactly two years ago. This new theme was built on their updated framework as an updated and modernised version of the previous theme.
Like before, Premium members are able to switch between the light theme and dark theme, which can now be done simply by clicking the lightbulb icon next to alerts in the navigation bar.
Perhaps one of the best features of this new theme is that users who are Supreme are able to make the theme any colour they like through user preferences. Some examples of customised themes can be found below:

As this is being released exclusively on MC-Market, bugs are to be expected. The staff team have been using this new theme over the past week to fix any bugs, but unfortunately we may not have noticed all bugs. If you have noticed any problems, please report them in the Suggestions & Feedback forum.
Resource update
The resource update has been planned for over 6 months and it has now finally been released! Justis and Lyphiard have been working hard on making many improvements to resources with a goal of making the system great for both authors and buyers. The updates are as follows:
- Changed ‘Builds’ category to ‘Worlds’
- Added ‘Setups’ category
- Added ability for users to upload .lang, .dat, .json and .myml files
- Added buyer’s username and user id to PayPal checkout description
- Added ability to post new versions for unapproved resources
- Added automatic removal of resources for banned users
- Fixed resource threads being locked after six months
- Fixed issues with revoking resource licenses
- Fixed resources breaking with $0.00 price tag
We will also be increasing resource standards with the goal of making them more unique. This means that we will be going through every single resource over the next few days and purging any resources which no longer reach these new standards. You will be sent a PM if any of your resources has been removed.
Ads manager update
We have updated several things in the Ads Manager for MC-Market to account for the huge demand we have had for advertisements recently. Banner ads now cost $25 per week rather than $20 per week and Sticky threads will be set to different prices per-forum over the next few days.
We are also creating a new advertisement type for a large banner ad. These advertisements are visible to all guests and users that aren’t Premium or Supreme. There is a maximum of one advertisement at any given time and it will cost $25 per day, $150 per week, or $550 per month if you purchase multiple days at a time. If you would like more information about this, please send me a PM.
