Hello guys, I’m looking to purchase my first gaming PC as soon as possible!

I’m currently trying to just find the best parts and get the best performance for my money. I’ll give you guys some information that will help you see what I’m looking for.

NEEDS: Record/possibly stream, play games like Valorant, GTA V, CSGO, Warzone, Fortnite and others at 1080p and good settings. I’d like to play VR in the future when I can save up enough for a headset. I also need a monitor, and I need WiFi.

PARTS: I’ve picked out some basic parts but there’s still some stuff I need help with. The PCPP list contains everything in my rough build, but the list below are the items I definitely want to work around, I really just need to find the right motherboard and a few other items. I’ll also probably be buying from a mixture of Amazon and Micro Center.

PCPP: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cmMwJb

(definitely want these items below I believe, unless you can change my mind)

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 ($172.39)
GPU: MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 6GB ($339.99)
RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 3000MHz ($72.99)

NEED: I really just need to find a good motherboard (maybe with WiFi, or I need to find a WiFi card as well). I need a case and I’d like it to be clean/have some RGB if possible but still keep the build at around $1200ish or less including monitor. I also need an appropriate monitor for 1080p gaming, I don’t think I’m too worried about 4K crazy graphics. I think this is pretty much all I need, but if there’s anything I’m missing please let me know. If you’re able to please leave a comment and help me finish my list properly!

Thank you all in advance for any help! Hoping to build this ASAP!

Ayye I own a similar specced build. For the MoBo Aorus Pro B450 has wifi and looks pretty af. My case is a silver Jonsbo vr2 and while it’s not a known brand I think it’s really clean.

One thing I’d suggest is to get cooling for your CPU, I used the stock cooler for awhile but the temps were quite high. I slapped a Noctua fan in there and it’s all good now :) Go with watercooling if you want aesthetics ofc (or the blacked out Noctua if you don’t mind fan cooling)

IMO get the 1660 TI, pretty much the 2060 but a little cheaper, with the money saved use that towards a total of 32gb ram, thats the best for recording/streaming and of course editing but also VR
