PEX for 1.7 + 1.8?

Hi,

I'm currently using this jar file (http://spigotmc.info/) I'm using the Spigot1649 jar, so players can connect using 1.7 and 1.8.

I tried putting 2 different PermissionsEx jars in, and both of them don't work. If I do a command like /pex, nothing happens. It doesn't even generate a folder.

If you have any idea what the problem is, or if you have a link to another PEX, reply please.

Is there an error?

Well I know the problem is that it's not 1.7 compatible, only 1.8 (PEX)

So I was wondering if there was a PEX that was compatible with both 1.7 and 1.8.

I'm confused, though. I just uploaded that jar file, and nothing's happening. I reloaded, and it's still not generating any folders.

What should I do with the other link you posted? It's just a folder.

I accidentally linked their Github. Also never reload, most plugins don't reset correctly when you do.

Try using https://hub.spigotmc.org/jenkins/view/All/job/PermissionsEx/lastSuccessfulBuild/

Try deleting your current Pex.jars, and moving the permissions.yml file somewhere else, for it to generate a new one.

Then restarting the server?

Yep, I'm removing the old plugin, uploading a new one, typing save-all in the console, stopping the server, then restarting the server.

anddddd... what a shocker. It's still not working.

Would you mind linking me to the jar you're using? Thanks.

And, instead of hitting the download button scroll down and on the right you will see Recent files.
Download this:
