Profile customizability

Few suggestions to allow a user to personalize and add flavor to their profile.

The following should probably be a rank perk:

1. Profile banners. Much like what you added for threads.

2. Backgrounds. Much like steam backgrounds. And when its someone's birthday balloons because balloons are always fun.

3. Static Service links/Bio. Many of us offer services and have to post it in our status. It ends up looking ugly and is not really what a status is. This could be under or by a banner or something not sure.

4. Similar to #3, social media Icons/links. Because, who really clicks on that About section? Having a bio or banner would cancel the need for this, maybe.

Note: I would suggest doing either #1 or #2, not both.

Not if we use one, maybe two. I think a banner and bio type thing would be the best combo.

It's not a bad idea, but I can't see them switching this up after having it a certain way for the longest time. I mean, this is what has worked for them.

I think a banner would be sick though. They added it for U rank for threads so maybe just for that rank. Similar to a signature but on the profile?

We already have this and have had it for many years. It was actually profile banners that existed first and lead to us adding thread banners.

I think that this would just be clunky. I suppose it depends on what our new theme on XF2 looks like, but this probably would just look unprofessional and gross.

We allow for service links and a bio in your information section of the profile. I don't see a need to make it much more prominent than that though when statuses already also work really well for it.

We used to have something like this and removed it for being too clunky and unused. I doubt we'd add something like this back.
