Rebrand as “MCM” and relieve the heavy focus on MC

I think this should have been done quite a while ago but the site should have less of a focus on Minecraft as the version we all play (Java) is undoubtedly declining and has slowly been for a while.

I think the site should take focus off of the Minecraft stuff and should be much more of a marketplace like Fiverr is or another site - keep current forums since the site already insinuates a marketplace but group majority of the heavily focused MC forums (established servers, premade builds, premade setups, building, etc) under a minecraft section.

I feel like if MCM doesn’t accomplish this by at least late 2020 java will start to show it’s age, if you catch my drift

If this is considered, it will take a lot of time, effort, and work. That’s the requirement for any fundamental change

Even if the game dies, the word "mc" in the domain can be easily replaced or added a new name for example

"MyCart-Market"
And take out its Minecraft type.

As far as rebranding goes, the most they should do is rebrand from MC-Market or Minecraft Market to just MCM, and remove "Minecraft" from "#1 Minecraft trades and sales forum"

That’s pretty much what I’ve suggested here. When I say relieve the heavy focus I just mean the site shouldn’t mainly be minecraft

This has been a topic I have been considering for many years now, and overall which direction I would like to take the site in for the future. At the moment I have no intentions of rebranding MC-Market to anything else, and I would like to keep the site relatively minecraft-based going into the future. Resources are the big focus for us at the moment, and we have put a massive amount of time and money into making the platform the best it can possibly be for our authors.

Maybe in a year or two, we can have another discussion about the direction to take the site, but for now, I'm pretty content with us being the #1 Minecraft Trades & Sales Forum.
