Competition is good, but Minecraft is saturated. How can someone be expected to innovate if his profit is only 0.1$ per GB he sells.

You're limiting the size of the market's customers you target if you want to use innovations that people want but sell at a 'higher' price. If you had something pretty nice here and decided to sell for $8/GB, people would want it but refuse to pay so you'd get your thread trashed until you decreased your prices.Of course you can't expects innovations on the cheap.![]()
Most clients seems to understand this, for instance people seems to like ServerMiners' servicing even though they can be ~1.5x the "going rate".
I can understand if you're going to have to charge $xx/GB to sustain a profitable business you may be in a "rough spot". However if people see you did indeed innovative to the pricing your charging then a few will eventually "stop by" (providing you put time and efforts to "win" them over). Client relations then play a vital role as that will determine if your innovations will be the "new thing on the block" or... Just another failure.
If there a need for such innovative servicing then there a way.![]()

That industry operates in a completely different way. Actually, every industry operates in a completely different way, just this defies the basic rules. If they want it so "bad" they will find avenues to pay. Try trashing a car dealer for that BMW that you want at a lower cost. Chances are you won't get far.
