Revamp mc market

Okay this is a long stretch and many of you might think I'm retarded, but we can all agree how MC Market has really been a shit show this past year or two. MC Market should honestly unban all people expect for people who scammed, reform the staff team. It really needs to be done some of you may no agree, but its really the only option mc market is going down mainly because staff abuse, staff are biased, staff don't care, staff are lazy, not all are like this but, this would make MC Market 100x better. Now why would we unban practically everyone. This would allow users to have a second chance who were not banned for scamming this would allow more opportunities for more plugins, maybe better staff members. Although a lot of you may disagree or agree this is honestly the only change to make MC Market decent again and create a bigger market.

Damn right MC-M is a shithole, I say it all the time. A lot of people do, and it's the way we like it. Our toxic community knows everyone, theres always deals goin' on, so as a market place it's doing its job. I see a few issues sure, and you'd be right on staff being biased, but tbh they can be. Their website, not ours. I don't see staff abuse though, so not sure where that one is coming from.

Unbanning everyone that didn't scam, yikers that wouldn't work. We'd get that one kid C a l l u m back, and we don't need that.

I disagree with your whole suggestion.
There's a variety of reasons that people can get banned for outside of scamming (Common ones being illegal activities such as doxing and passing 75 warning points) I think illegal activities is an obvious one and for too many warning points, people who get that many points clearly show they have no regard for our rules and make the site a worse place for most users, and thus, should be removed from the site. We have to ban people for being under 13, that's the law.

As for your comments on the staff, you're being quite ignorant. The people on the team wouldn't be here if they didn't care, there is no real incentive to be a staff member other than you care about the community. The reports backlog is the lowest it has been in 1-2 years, the scam reports are being controlled well by the team, and tickets have better response times they have had in a long time. If you think there is a staff member who is biased or abuses their power, please make a ticket with evidence of that.

MC-Market is more active, better staffed, and has a better community than 1-2 years ago in my opinion.

Not sure where you are getting that, we have more active users and more new posts than before. There's no good way to measure toxicity, but just from my opinion and observations, it's gotten a lot better.

I agree the staff team needs reform but you are just memeing at this point. Unbanning all those who have scammed would cause so many people to leave the market, there is too much risk of getting scammed.

In my opinion, the data that we have on our banned members and our ban list is one of the biggest and most important assets that MC-Market has. A few days ago we hit 25,000 bans (yay!) and having a list of that is a sustainable competitive advantage that has allowed for us to grow since it's something that the dozens of shitty MCM clones made a year cannot copy from us.

If you look at the MCM clones that are made, one of the main reason that they fail is that inevitably all of the scammers and toxic ex-MCM members move over there for another chance to be a dickhead or scam. If we made the change that you made, I'm sure that having thousands or tens of thousands of people come back to us that we worked so hard to remove the first time would just be a step in the wrong direction.

Our staff don't abuse, and it is ridiculously hard to be banned for violating our rules unless you're constantly toxic and refuse to read them.
