I know!! so I'm guessing they only allow the capes to be added to the original email/mojang account it was sent too.
because apparently it had a 2012 and 2013 cape codes in Bashur's email, but Julie thought they where worthless.

The cape was already on the account but was never searched on NameMC while it was enabled. It was set to the 2012 on minecraft.net and cached on NameMC recently.
