Searching for a community manager (60,000 player network)

I'm here once again searching for a community manager - unfortunately due to the sheer amount of money hungry little goblins on this forum who charge an insane amount and then disappear for 2 weeks after you pay them there will be no conversation about pay until you have worked for a solid month, without any strange disappearances or doing the bare minimum after you get paid.

We have reached out twice already searching for the correct candidates and I get people will say "well, you get what you pay for" - we tried, multiple times on both ends. From 50$ a month to 500$ a month, and thus far have been let down every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily ticketing and giveaway management
• Plan and host creative, engaging community events
• Welcome, onboard, and mentor trial moderators
• Cultivate a fun, safe space where members can connect and thrive
• Creating promotional messages, announcements and other community engagement.
• Working along side upper management to keep things running well.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing large online communities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A proactive, positive attitude and genuine passion for community building

Next Steps
To ensure the right fit, new hires will complete a one-month probation period. During this time, you’ll demonstrate your commitment and consistency—after which, we’ll discuss compensation and additional incentives.

Hello, I can understand the frustration in interacting with incompetent people but I am confused about one passage: is the month paid even if one is not confirmed?
I mean nobody wants to work for free and having had bad experiences does not justify having it done.
