Hi, I'm Thomas.

I'm looking to make some plugins. I'm open to pretty much all types of jobs, but I still have preferences. The information below should help.

What type of jobs I will and will not accept:

If you want me to make a specific plugin:

  • I will make tiny plugins for free.
  • I will make small/medium plugins for cheap. (Cheap meaning < $20, depends on the plugin.)
  • I will NOT make large projects alone. (MMORPG, full mini-games, ect.)
If you want to hire me for your server/network:
  • I will work for an established network for free. (Professional experience is payment enough!)
  • I will NOT work for a new/unfinished network unless I'm paid.
I consider a tiny plugin to be a couple basic features, commands or events. Also, when I say "established network", I mean a network that has 100+ players online throughout most of the day. I'm sorry if I seem too picky, but I usually get a lot of offers so I'd like to narrow it down a little.

About me:

I'm currently 17 years old. I've been coding in the Java language inconsistently since 2011. It wasn't until late 2013 that I got into the Bukkit API, which is where I really started to get into Java. I consider myself proficient with both the Java language and the Bukkit API. I am capable of using other API's (BungeeCord for example) and can implement databases (MySQL, MongoDB) into any plugin. I'm very knowledgeable with Minecraft in general. I joined beta version 1.3 in early 2011 and attended Minecon Orlando in 2013.

I also have the skills necessary to work with a team. I am able to communicate verbally with people inside and outside of the team. I can efficiently plan, organize, and prioritize work. I can also make important decisions and solve problems. If there's something I can't do, I can learn.

Example of my work:

I have only released one public plugin throughout my time as developer.
Acp Food
I'm proud of the current state of this plugin and it's 4000+ downloads. All of the code for this plugin is available on my GitHub.

Contact:

Here are a few ways you can get in contact with me. I'd really appreciate it if could at least read the "What type of jobs I will and will not accept" part of this post. Thanks!

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Hello! Please let me know if you can do my network: play.inviznetwork.com Its "Established" but the playerbase is small

Hi, thanks for reading my post. I can still work for you, but not for free. The only reason I would work for free is because I need professional experience from a credible network. Yours isn't exactly credible, but if it pays, I can work for you.

Your ACP plugin is a maven project yet it doesn't include a pom? o_O, also don't abuse statics and publics c:

It wouldn't even be a Maven project if I didn't have a pom.xml, I just have it ignored in my .gitignore. Also, don't abuse your mother c:

Was the mother part serious? If so, your code is terrible.

Haha, I wasn't serious. I didn't really ask for advice on my code, so I made a joke. I made this thread to offer my skills, so if you want to critique my code, you can PM me.

Vouch copy ? It's a small simple plugin if it turns out well I'll vouch and let them judge the code of it so the hate stops Only way to start on mcm is vouches

Although I don't seem need vouches (I've received plenty of offers already), I will still make tiny plugins for free. Contact me with the details and I'll determine if it's easy enough to do for free. :)

Soldier is a reliable developer, he created me a complex plugin within a few days and charged a low price, I'm definitely buying more off of him. Thanks Soldier once again
