I have a small SMP that barely has players on it. It follows a unique yet weird system that me and my friends decided to roll with. Not really advertised yet with just only my friends playing on it which is why I am offering $25 a month. After finishing the foundations for the server, we will start advertising. We are a whitelisted SMP (1.17), however, our spawn also allow "Guests" to roam around without any permissions. Basically, we are a community based server (Discord and Minecraft) that treats our whitelisted members with more privilege over our guests/visitors. We are trying to make the SMP theme based around somewhat of a "Colonial Era" style experience on our server. The requirements are:
-Discord
-Maturity (15+)
-Portfolio
-Communication/Responsive
-Determination and a willing spirit to do tasks. (You are basically getting paid to help me manage the server)
-Experience with Management (Servers? Discords? Etc)
-Experience with Discord and basic bots to configure.
-Experience with plugins and file configuration
-Experience with managing server files
Extra positives if you can:
-Do plugin development (Must be very experienced)
-Great reputation on the website
-Experience in the SMP Server field. (We are going to need advice, tips, and other helpful ideas to help grow our server.)
-Accept goofy, whacky, scenarios and random dialouges in our chat.
The job:
-Help us debate and decide what is best for the server.
-Help me decide what is best for the staff team, community, and server.
-Doing tasks such as plugin configurations, world file importing, fixing/doing server work such as creating and editing groups, and more basic jobs to do for the server.
-Check for bugs, glitches, or any screw ups I have made. (Did I wreck the economy? Did I not set a permission correctly? etc etc)
-Anything else that is server related.
Payment:
-Only through Paypal.
-For the first month, you can either be paid $12.50 on the first day and paid $12.50 on the last day which totals up to $25 for the first month OR you can be paid $25 after your first month. After the first month, by the end of each month, you will be paid $25 for the work you have done.
-If you decide to resign, you should give in a 2 weeks notice when payday is coming up. I am not willing to pay during half of the worktime you have given and debate on "how much" you should be paid for because of the "work given" since I can't evaluate the time you have spent working on the server before the month is over.
-If you fail to give in a 2 weeks notice and decide to quit while not following the terms given above, you will not be paid for that month. Again, I can't evaluate the amount of work you have given during the time you have spent working. Its either wait for your payday or don't. No debates about this term.
-Any emergencies, family meetings, or anything that is personal should be notified to me immediately. That way, I can freeze your time and resume it when you are ready to work again.
-If you do not respond without any proper notice within 5-7 days, you will be immediately terminated without pay. I need to know if you are active, doing tasks, and managing.
Why am I doing this:
-I am lazy and can never get tasks done. If I do, they take forever.
-I need someone who can help me formulate second opinions so I don't screw up to cause guests or even members to leave the community. I want to make it fun as possible for everyone.
-Basically a project to see if I can succeed and continue to expand into other genres or just keep it simple as a SMP for everyone to enjoy. Just something community based and for fun.
That is pretty much it. If you aren't interested in the Secretary/Manager position or didn't get accepted, you can also try for other positions that we plan on having in the future. Please bear in mind that these positions are not for pay but only voluntary. You just need to be at least 13, participate in our Discord community, and have a fun time on our Minecraft server! Just remember, everything you do will always be transparent. We will always provide reasoning for the actions you have given to the punished. If they want a reasonable case, they will be provided a reasonable case.
Enforcement (Moderation):
-Patrol the server
-Enforce our Constitution
-Know our punishment guidelines
-Be active and dedicated
-Learn the basic moderation tools
Gatekeeper (Whitelister):
-Review our Whitelist Request Applications (Guest -> Member) made by our guests.
-Participate within the Gatekeeping Council (Gatekeeper Meeting) to compile a list of Whitelist Request Applicants that should be allowed entrance or denied with reason given.
-As a staff official, you are required to follow our Constituion, participate and be active on the server by helping our guests to become members (whitelisted) by giving them a friendly introduction to our server.
We may have more positions for later since we are still fairly new and still in development. We have a long list of crap to do and got only 10-20% of this stuff complete. If you just want to hang around and play on our server as well, just be sure to give me a DM.
