I am "Smhh," and I've been deeply involved in the Minecraft scene for over 3 years. Since 2022, I’ve transitioned into owning and managing Minecraft servers, and I’m proud to share some of my accomplishments from 2024:
After taking a short hiatus to focus on my studies, I am back, refreshed, and ready to take on a new and exciting opportunity.
The concept I am proposing is "Shop-Survival," a CPVP-Economy Based Server, and it is based on a model that has worked incredibly well for other server owners. Servers in this genre are in high demand, particularly within the "Tier List PVP" community, which boasts over 400,000 members combined. Notably, servers like DrDonutt’s "DonutSMP" have peaked at over 10,000 players, with a primary focus on PVP.
So, what is Shop-Survival? It’s a hybrid server combining CPVP and economy, where players can battle it out while also engaging in an economy-driven gameplay experience. Many servers of this type have seen massive success, but with many of them fading, the demand is still very much alive. Among the current 3 giants in the industry, I believe that with the right investment and resources, we can capture the majority of the market share. For example, ToxissSMP has grown to a peak of 500+ players in just 6 months, and EuropeMC, a former CPVP Economy server, recently made a successful return with 350+ players online.
With the market still relatively untapped compared to more inflated types like Lifesteal, I believe this is an incredible opportunity for growth and success.
