$5 is ridiculously high - other hosts offer $2 / GB and put you on an E5, but you put them on an E3. Most hosts are the same as yours except from the fact that you're reselling an expensive host.

Hello BritishKid,

First of all, we have lowered our prices to $3/GB. However $5/GB is not expensive at all compared to other hosts. Other hosts sell for $5/GB and they resell OVH, WSI and other datacenters that don't always the best of hardware/network. We own our hardware and we have carefully selected the datacenter so that our servers have access to a quality network. Unlike other hosts, we are using the latest Xeon CPU's and DDR4 Ram. Plus we offer 600Gbps of DDoS protection which other hosts don't even come close to offering. So all in all for a host in which offers a standard of quality in which other hosts can't even come close to.For most people, $3.00/GB is a great deal, compared to the hardware you get else where.

Guardian Hosting Team.

You said you used E3 XEON CPU's in your earlier posts, pretty sure thats an old model. The E7 is actually the latest; but you're still back on E3's. On your website you give out free servers - isn't this exploitable?

Hello again,

No E7's are not the lastest server CPU. It is the classification of the processor. Like you get i3's, i5's and I7's, it works the same with server cpu's, E3's, E5's and E7's. The Intel Xeon E3-1245v5 was released in the fourth quarter of 2015 and the E7's were released 2 quarters before this. Also about the free servers, we are distributing a promotional code to all users that only allows them to redeem the voucher once.If they try to purchase it again, they will recieve a small charge. Yes they could create multiple accounts, however the free servers are limited to 1 server per IP. If this rule is broken then we will suspend the product.

Guardian Hosting Team.

Still, the latest E3 is 1285, not 1245. Anyway, you probably haven't heard of a proxy/vpn so it is easily possible to bypass your limit of 1 server per ip.

Hello BritishKid,

What you need to do is go have a look on Intel's website and learn about CPU models. The difference between the 1245 and 1280 is not how new they are, these are the different models within the Xeon E3 category. The main difference between a 1245 and 1280 is clock speed. Please educate your self so that you do not waste people's time by sharing false information. We fully understand your concern. However, this is someone else’s thread, looking for a host. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM us.

Regards,
Guardian Hosting Team.
