Is it possible to make the IP cyanidepvp.com instead of play.cyanidepvp.com?

If your webhost is the same as your mc host, yep

You can sacrifice your domain by pointing it to your server ip. I'm still learning this stuff, so I might be wrong here lol

You can use the domain for the server ip and for the website address without having to sacrifice anything. That's how I have it setup on my host at least.

If your web site host allows SRV records you can do it.

^ You can do that or what most people do is (what straight said) use something like a vps so your mc host has the same ip as your webhost so there will be no problem
