For what? Medals are awarded when you've achieved something, what have we achieved by literally sitting back and watching the site name change?

I don't think necessarily having it for everyone who signed up before the rebrand would be a good idea.

I'm supportive of the idea so long as there are some limiting criteria in place - for example, those who posted X amount of times before the rebrand, or those who were active on the day of the rebrand. It could be anything - but it'd be a nice token to mark the change.

Agreed, it'd be a nice badge to show you were there for the rebrand, but having 500k people get it would be a waste.

If a medal was given, then new members would see and think about the re-branding as well.
Im guessing it's best to have it slowly be forgotten about, where everyone eventually will just know mc-market as "BuiltByBit" now.

I support this suggestion if there are criteria that brings the number of people who receive it to not be excessive.
Having a medal for everyone that was on the site for the last 8 years wouldn't be the best idea

People with x posts, thread,s or reactions for sure should get one if one does get added; as above everyone who's ever made an account getting one would be ludicrous. The active members of the website "built" the website in a sense, but it seems kinda pointless; but so is the 2019 april fools medal lol

No reason to give a medal out to so many people IMO. Dilutes the value of medals if we give one to people for anything.
