probably because its a teeny project single page, no need for framework

Probably because Bootstrap is overused to hide a lack of web design abilities. Simple pages with a very standardized layout of alternating content boxes with no real navigation bar, but links to sections of the page within it self. There are also almost zero level of proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver or any design skills such as vectors but usage of only CSS colors and elementary basic styles.

You come across slightly cynical so I'd respond likewise. There are exceptions, but that is the general level shown by amateurs and shown in your website as well. I like how the 7 different "Learn More" buttons and 8 icons uner your Main Services on your "website" doesn't even link to a separate page but back to the header / photoslider. So much redundancy and lack of functionality.

It emphasizes a lot on "this is another typical boostrap Minecraft site" that the average person can accomplish. I don't call a single page even a website.
I don't disagree with Bootstrap looking plain, but if you're providing a psd and want it made into a website, the framework wouldn't have any effect on the appearance, it'd only allow faster development as well as make it easier to create a responsive site.

I dont understand why the attack at me? lol I wasnt being rude at all, I was just defending your reasoning for not bootstrap. heh.. But thats fine i suppose. I make a decent living on using front end and backend frameworks, there's nothing wrong with it, and it doesnt at ALL show your inexperience. Frameworks are designed to streamline to process from concept to production. They are there to make life easier, not necessarily a crutch to lean on. Just guessing, I'd bet more than.. 90% of the websites that exist on the internet are built with a framework. Foundation, Bootstrap, Semantic, Laravel, Symfony, Wordpress, take your pick. They are there for developers to use and work with. If seems it is your inexperience that throws out comments like 'no bootstrap' because chances are most of the websites you frequent are built with frameworks, its just the more experienced front end designers do not leave the default layouts and call it a day. Again, never had any intentions of being rude in this thread, not sure where I came across as 'cynical' at all. Have a good day.

Holy shit the ignorance.
Did this kid just say 90% of the Internet?

I...
I can't even.

Also, Wordpress is not a framework, it is a blogging software. Hell, next thing you know, he'll say FTP is a frame work. I'd say 30 - 35% absolute tops is made from a framework.
I'd disagree with that number. Almost every site uses some sort of framework, front-end or back-end, the exceptions here would be the plain HTML/CSS pages, which really only 'old' sites use.

Anyway, on topic, I'd be happy to help out with this, feel free to add me on Skype: RiotShielderr

WordPress does implement frameworks (or at least I assume it does), however in itself isn't a framework, it's software. It'd be similar to referring to a desktop computer as a piece of silicon or a circuit.

yea, that was my original meaning, rather than rambling off a list of frameworks in wordpress, figured the term wordpress would suffice.. guess not for some people.

Anyhow nebula bud, good luck on your ventures... Try not to misread peoples intentions in the future, and you wont look like an ass.
