Suggestion Guidelines | Read before posting

Hello there!

You want to make a suggestion for MC-Market? It's great to hear you want to improve the forum however there have been a lot of duplicate suggestions or people who have been just suggesting silly things. I've decided to create this thread to reduce those.

• Before suggesting something, make sure it hasn't been suggested before. If a similar idea has been suggested before, it most likely will end up with the same result as the previous suggestion.
  
• If you're suggesting a feature change or addition, try to find some addons who do what you're asking. Custom development is really time consuming and expensive so we try to use public resources who are mantained and updated frequently. You can use Xenforo's official website to look up any addons.
• Any suggestions related to modifications to the reaction/rating system will be declined. This includes removal of the entire rating system, additional ratings, changing ratings to neutral, etc.
• Any suggestions related to modifications to the thread prefixes system will be declined.
• Keep in mind that MC-Market works on an 'Innocent until proven guilty' mentality and won't accept any suggestions to tell users when there's a scam report against someone.
• When suggesting something, bring up the following:
  - Is it worth implementing?
  - What are the pros and cons?
  - Are you able to find any public resources which do what you want?
• Don't suggest for the sake of suggesting. Suggest only things that could improve MC-Market.
• If you disagree with a suggestion, I highly suggest leaving some constructive feedback in the thread. It's very hard for us to decide if there's a lot of disagree ratings but no feedback.
• Just because a suggestion gets a lot of agrees, it doesn't mean it will get implemented. Sure, we do look at community feedback but sometimes implementing something is simply not worth it.
• Don't even try to farm agree reactions/ratings, they are counted neutral anyways.
• Ensure each thread only contains 1 suggestion.
• The suggestion section is a very serious place. It basically decides the future of MC-Market. All posts on suggestions must be on topic, contributing and relevant.

I will update this thread overtime so make sure to check back once in a while.
If you think there's anything that should be added to this thread, feel free to post below, the thread is under moderation and I'll add any useful things to the thread from time to time. Only post things related to contribution to thread, off-topic/non-useful posts won't be approved.
