Im looking to start my own server again, but with just the SURVIVAL gamemode from 1.8 to latest version.

Im planning to have between 40 and 120 players daily and i was looking for a dedicated server and i saw this one:

i7-4790K 4c/8t 4GHz
16GB DDR3 1333Mhz
120gb SSD

I will host it on Canada mainly for LATAM users (the server will be on Spanish and im from Europe, but the ping it's always better from EUROPE to Canada than from LATAM to Europe).

What you guys think about this server specs?? It would be enough to host hundreds of players? Or should i get the other option for 10€/month more with 32gb ram and 240gb SSD?

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

If you are able to upgrade down the road I would start with the basics and scale accordingly.

I don't really think SOYOUSTART gives you the option to upgrade, but anyways i could always get the new machine and make a small maintenance on the current one and the server will be just upgraded, don't you think so?

You may want to contact us on discord (HostEZ_Admin#4504) and assuming this is SYS BHS, if you want to try that datacenter out before buying the dedi. Our experience is that Latin America does ok to OVH BHS, if you are happy with 200ms+ latency to most LatAm countries. We may be able offer you a temporary VPS on those or similar specs if you would like to try first.

Hello Lince, we can provide you a minecraft server with 16gb for $24 in Europe and NA for $28. I provide dedicated Servers in those regions as well. I also have dedicated servers in Spain but they are kind of pricey. $85 for Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB DDR4, 960GB SATA SSD (SPAIN)

Wow... lot of offers, I don't think he was asking for that.

Yeah I think that would be more cost effective than just getting the more expensive one. I would start by optimizing RAM as much as you can and figuring out how much you need. If you can get it down to like 8GB or 12GB Highend VM options really start to open up in locations that are optimized for both South America and Europe like Miami.
