2 Pages of posts, and out of that there are only 2 proper posts that actually have something to do with the thread itself. Others are asking stupid questions, or posting gibberish.

The rules should be more strict. Post something useless that has nothing to do with the thread - warning, post once more, 1 week ban. If the thread is in market, offer your product or don't post. Other questions - in PM.

I understand that this forums community is around 14 years old, but come on.

This happens to the most threads here, and really pisses me off. All the kids that boost their posts by posting random shit and trashing the threads. Makes the forum to be low quality this way as well.

Staff on here are busy mostly with keeping the site running and dealing with scammers.
If you want a proper forum, go find one. or better yet, make one.
This is a forum that works as a marketplace, and it's got quite a bit of challenges to deal with.
off-topic posts are literally the least of our concern.

I mean come on, this is a bloody minecraft forum. at 20, I'm one of the oldest community members here. If you want a mature community, try games that attract people older than 14, or create a forum of your own and carefully filter by age (good luck with that btw).

Most of you don't know how much comments the moderators remove.
They are taking down more and more low quality and unrelated posts which I honestly love.

It's very hard to moderate every single bit of content though so if you see these happening, feel free to report them. They don't always hand out warnings for this, depends on the nature of the comment and how serious the thread actually is.

I think if you compare the forum now and 1 year ago you'll see a huge increase in quality, still not enough imo.

I don't think our rules need to be stricter. Perhaps us Moderators can be watching out more for meaningless comments that come up, but we're not perfect and you can't expect us to get every single one. That's where your reporting comes in. It's very helpful to us when you report comments that don't follow our rules.

Not to mention, while this may piss you off spurkle, more strict rules is going to piss a whole lot more people off. I don't know about you, but I'd rather deal with a few pissed off people rather than a few hundred pissed off people, thank you very much.
