Thoughts?

Hey guys, so this weekend i'm hiring a youtuber that consistently gets 10k views for a video and a tweet. Since i'm new to this kind of thing, i have a few questions:

- How many players will join? (Not necessarily stay) - and how many will we get up to while he's recording + after the video's posted?
- Will people try to DDoS us? How badly?
- I know this depends on the server, but donations?

MineOfPvp had cavemanfilms make a video on the server, I am admin on it. The video currently has about 15k views on it wasn't really worth it I think we peaked at around 70 or something, got a little bit of donations people won't ddos you lol.

What was your playerbase before? And what did you/do you average after that peak?

Well can't give a good guess without knowing. Who the youtuber is has a big impact 10k views is very vague some may be double views, botted, etc

If your server is good and the players who join stay on for a hour or so other players will see it and join and that could get you from (no idea what your player base is currently) to maybe +40-60 players ? (just a guess so please no hate). Also i doubt it hardly see anyone ddosing servers anymore. Donations depend on how good the server is but it might be smart to do a little sale once the video is uploaded - a few days after so new players feel like they are getting a "Steal" on the rank for a new and up and coming server

- does not bot
- is not saturated (at all)
- is posting the video at peak hours on sunday

(100% do the sale thing.. its how i choose what server i will donate too.. it has sale and i like it a little? 100% donating xD)

I mean depends on your prices. I'm on the server so will check them out and give you a general idea.

Looked at your items/ranks and i think a 20-50% off would get you a ton of donations (suggest 25% since 50 would just get alot of donations but not large amounts of $) Also could you pm me?

Server gets around 25-30 at peak on weekend though, Our playerbase before that was like 15 players or something.
