Hello everyone, I know a lot of people get hacked on steam so today I will be teaching you my method that would secure your account and make it indestructible. Follow the steps bellow, and if you have any questions or need assistance feel free to PM me on here or on Skype " wardpowered .
Step #1
Make sure you have a verified Steam E-mail address.
Step #2
Make sure to have a strong password, when setting up your password steam tells you
how strong your password is.
Step #3
Add the Steam Mobile Authentication and make sure you have it set as phone not E-mail or disabled. To do that visit this article made by Valve. CLICK HERE
Step #4
Add a phone number to your account. To do that simply go on your account details section near the place were it shows your steam wallet balance, Click on your name and select account details. Look at "Contact Information" check the middle section, Click add phone number and complete the addition.
Step #5
Go back to your account details section and scroll down to the end. It's the section of Family Sharing. Setup family sharing for your steam account. Make sure your family view options are set like this.
After you're done, Type in a pin that pin, make sure to never forget it. If you do you can recover it from your E-mail that you picked.
Okay now you're a bit confused, maybe you don't have anyone to share your steam account with but, this is a really good way to protect your account. Every time you login to steam it blocks you from doing anything until you type in that pin. I've been using this method for the past two years and my account was never compromised. Lets say the hacker is really smart, he went into your account and got your authentication code ( nearly impossible). Then he logs in to your account and he gets the Family Pin, it's impossible to crack that Pin only if he hacks into the Steam Servers.
